Majestic Wisconsin Pines
Almost thirty years ago, I spent a week
planting 3,000 pine trees on Maggie's farm.
Last week, I took my kids through the resulting
forest of tall pines---50 to 60 feet tall.
Honestly, I could not hold back the tears.
I felt at once humbled and exalted.
But how delightful to tell my kids that
I had planted this forest !
